I tried this recipe for the first time the day we hosted Thanksgiving lunch. Pretty daring but it worked out amazingly. These are super easy and turn out soft, fluffy and delicious.
I served them straight out of the oven, brushed with butter. Since then I had also tried half the quantity for the recipe and it also worked out beautifully.
My 4 year old absolutely loves these and requests them all the time. While it can be served with almost any meal it can also be served as a quick snack. Some examples are with butter and jam or butter and cheese. Add some deli meat... get creative.
I love that I can make it in my stand mixer with very little fuss. On my first attempt I didn't get them all the same size but it didn't make a big difference to the taste.
I have also recommended these to friends to friends and family who also had great results.
